Our Magento 2 Elavon Converge Payment allows you to accept payments from credit cards to gift cards, electronic checks (ACH), and digital wallets. This helps improve the overall customer experience, leading to increased sales as your customers will have the flexibility to pay for orders in their preferred payment method.
In case you create a new order from your Magento 2 Admin, you will be provided with the same methods to capture payments.
Complete Payment Details Right on Checkout Page
Once customers select Converge Payment Gateway, they can enter payment data directly on your store’s checkout page. They don’t have to leave your site during the checkout process, which results in a smooth shopping experience.
Sensitive customer data will be kept completely safe as they are not stored in your Magento server but passed in an encrypted form to Converge for processing.
Support 2 Payment Actions
With the “Authorize” action, payment transactions are only authorized, and the payment amount is not captured and settled. You will have to create an invoice to capture this amount from Magento Admin.

Our extension uses the Checkout.js integration method that will reduce your security liability, helping your site meet SAQ A-EP levels of PCI compliance. Customers will enter their payment data directly on your Magento 2 store. And the payment details are sent from the customer side via the browser to Elavon, rather than being posted through your site’s server.
Yes, you must sign up for an Elavon Converge account to obtain the credentials required (including Merchant ID, User ID, and PIN). Then save these credentials in the extension’s configuration to set Converge as a payment gateway on your site. Please contact Elavon to open an account.
You can use these test cards provided by Converge. Please note that these cards are approved for use with Elavon’s test systems and they will decline if used in live environments.
